2. Terms & Conditions (1 to 18)

Term 1 You are appointed as [POST] at [SCHOOL_NAME]. Term 2 You will be on purely contract basis for a period ending on [CONTRACT_END_DATE], which may be extended at the discretion of the management. Term 3 During the tenure of your service, you shall work exclusively for the School and shall not take up any other employment, business, or commercial assignment (part-time, full-time, or freelance). Furthermore, staff members are strictly prohibited from conducting, organizing, or engaging in private tuition, coaching, or remedial classes—whether paid or unpaid—for our school students. Any violation of this rule will be treated as a serious breach of institutional policy, inviting strict disciplinary action. Term 4 During the period of your employment, you will be governed by the School's Service Regulation. Term 5 You will be required to attend Seminars / Workshops / Symposiums etc. as and when required during your service, escort the staff on educational excursions, trips & hikes etc. and perform academics and administrative tasks as per the needs of the School. Term 6 As a commitment to institution and children, you are required to complete one academic session. Term 7 The Society follows a policy of zero tolerance towards any act of child abuse in any form including verbal, physical & sexual. Offenders will be dismissed from service immediately. Term 8 Your employment may be terminated either during the tenure of period or the extended period of tenure at any time without assigning any reason whatsoever. Term 9 In the event of your services being terminated for any reason whatsoever or your leaving the services of the School, you will be obliged to account for and return the property of the School, such as instruments, tools, uniforms, etc. hold in your possession, custody or charge. Failure to do this will result in withholding your salary and deducting the value of such property there from and taking such other action as may be deemed fit. Term 10 Your employment shall be liable to summary termination without notice or compensation if at any time you are found to have concealed any material information from the management or given any false details in the application form or otherwise or misconduct & misbehavior. Otherwise 1 month notice is applicable from both sides and salary in lieu of notice period. Term 11 You shall produce all the certificates in original as well as the true copies of passing certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, discharges / relieving certificate and proof of your age before joining to the Principal. Term 12 You are required to carry out all duties assigned to you in the best efficient manner as desired by your superiors. You cannot refuse to perform / take on any duty assigned to you by your superiors. Term 13 Disrespectful behavior, rumor mongering, character assassination, insubordination and defiance of lawful order will lead to termination of your services. Term 14 All newly appointed employees will undergo an unpaid assessment period—10 days for freshers and 8 days for experienced candidates. During this time, performance, conduct, and punctuality will be evaluated without salary. Formal appointment will depend solely on satisfactory performance approved by School Management. Term 15 Candidates with prior relevant experience shall undergo a probationary period of 8 days. The school management will evaluate their professional competence, adaptability to the school environment and adherence to institutional policies during this period. Confirmation of employment will be based on a positive performance review. The school reserves the right to extend the probationary period if necessary. Term 16 Your annual confidential report will be written on the basis of your: (a) Professional attitude and a sense of duty towards your teaching assignments. (b) A willingness to take extra-curricular activities and responsibilities. (c) Your conduct, demeanor and working relationship with superiors, colleagues, students, parents and guests. Term 17 If the above said terms and conditions are acceptable to you, please sign the Duplicate copy of this letter in token of your acceptance. Term 18 You will abide by all the rules and regulations of the school and carry out the lawful orders and also show due respect to the constituted authorities.
